Insurance Policies

We participate with most insurance plans, but it is your responsibility to call your insurance carrier to determine whether or not we participate with your particular plan. Also, if your plan requires a referral from your Primary Care Physician for Specialist office visits, you are responsible for obtaining this referral so that our doctors can see you.

Phone Calls

Our phones are answered in the Jeffersonville office from 8AM to 4:30PM weekdays and in the Corydon and New Albany offices from 8AM to 4PM weekdays. Routine questions are best handled during regular office hours when your records are available. Through our offices you will be able to make appointments, schedule tests and surgeries, discuss billing questions and leave messages for the doctor. After hours, our phone is answered by an answering service. There will always be a physician available to take care of emergencies and he can be contacted through the answering service. In case of life or limb threatening emergencies please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Prescriptions

All new and refill prescriptions are taken care of only during office hours when your records are available to the physicians for review. Please note that prescriptions will not be refilled outside of office hours.

Hospitalizations

Our physicians are on the staffs of Clark Memorial Hospital, Floyd Memorial Hospital and Harrison County Hospital. If your problem requires hospitalization, the choice of the hospital to which you will be admitted will be made after discussion between you, your doctor and your referring physician.

Worker’s Compensation / Motor Vehicle Accident /
Liability Cases

Our office deals with these types of cases frequently and is knowledgeable in the proper care of those patients who are injured in liability situations. When making an appointment involving the situations mentioned above, verifiable contact information must be provided to our office. We will make every effort to assist you in obtaining the authorization for your office visits. If we are unable to obtain authorization, however, other payment options are available.
