Patrick D. Bauer, M.D.

Patrick D. Bauer, M.D., received his Masters of Science degree from the University of Louisville and his degree in medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1995. He obtained his post graduate training for an internship in general surgery and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Bauer was honored with the K.

Armand Fischer Award in 1998 for performance on OITE. He has presented research on Arthroscopic Treatment of Adhesive Capsulitis, Cortical Strut Allografts for Thigh Pain in Cementless Total Hips and Biomechanical evaluation of Circular External Fixation. Dr. Bauer has a written publication on Manganous Ion Uptake in Oral Streptococci. He is board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Medical Association.
